The first time I heard the concept of a \u201cdigital nomad\u201d was back in 2016 when I was hosting a barbecue (or better say \u201cun asado\u201d) in my apartment in Nu\u00f1ez, Buenos Aires, Argentina with friends and friends of my friends.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Is it ok if he crashes your apartment for 1 night? He is a nomad. He\u2019s part of this group of Digital Nomads in Buenos Aires and tomorrow they have an event close by.”<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I didn\u2019t know what to say. I\u2019m usually very welcoming but all I could think was\u2026<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Should I let a stranger who happens to be a guy stay in my apartment? How comfortable do I feel with it as a woman who lives alone?\u201d Plus\u2026 \u201cA nomad?\u201d \u201cWhat\u2019s a digital nomad?”<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Long story short, I said no to that request, and a year later without really knowing, I was the one quitting my job and life in Buenos Aires and becoming a digital nomad too.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

October 2017. After less than a year of preparation, I bought a one-way ticket to Chicago, USA and quit my job in a multinational company to pursue my dream of traveling the world full-time with my partner, Marco (and build our dream online business)<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Little did we know with it, the whole transformation our lives would have. Since then:<\/span><\/p>\r\n
