Fran: As an Argentinian, I always wanted to see the Perito Moreno Glacier. And here we are! Look! It’s incredible!
We went to El Calafate to see one of the wonders of the world, the Perito Moreno Glacier.
But why is this glacier so special?
Perito Moreno Glacier is one of the biggest glaciers in the world.
It’s 250 km2, 74m tall and it’s still growing, unlike the other glaciers that are retreating.
It is higher than the Obelisco and It can cover the whole of Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina.
This spectacular view surrounded by forests and mountains is only 1 hour away from El Calafate.
It’s very accessible to enjoy this view either by trekking, kayaking, via a ferry,
or walking around the national park.
Fran: We are here in Perito Moreno with my whole family. We are very happy!
We saw the glaciers and explored El Calafate together.
For us, time spent with family is always worth every second.
Because in the end, what matters most is the memories you spend with the people you love.
Every hug, every conversation, every laugh was unique,
and with this amazing view of the Perito Moreno Glacier, this experience was unforgettable.
